Started: He began playing sitting volleyball in 2010 at age 19 at school. (Athlete, 22 Aug 2021) Reason: He played standing volleyball before he acquired his impairment. "My father was a prominent volleyball player in my province and my mother was active in basketball. I was very enthusiastic about sports. After I completed the rehabilitation and treatment period, I was offered the chance to play in a sitting volleyball team."
