Biography
Started: She took up Para rowing in 2019. (Athlete, 25 Aug 2021; magaviron.fr, 15 Mar 2021) Reason: A swimmer before she acquired her impairment, she initially returned to competitive swimming after her accident. She was later approached by a national Para rowing coach. "My father and my mother are part of the Cercle Aviron Nogentais rowing club in Nogent-sur-Seine [in France]. I really wanted to try it. It was a beautiful challenge although I had never been on a boat before, so I had to learn."
