In 2019 he switched to Para athletics. "In 2008 there were the Olympic Games, and my mother watched a taekwondo match for the first time. She liked it and decided to enrol me. In the same year I started training at Galeb Taekwondo Club and trained for the following 10 years. Somewhere along the way, I became the world and European champion in Para taekwondo."
