Additional Info: GOING FOR GOLD
Having been part of the Chinese teams that finished as runners-up at the 2016 and 2020 editions of the Paralympic Games, she is aiming to claim the gold medal at the 2024 Games in Paris. "My first Paralympic Games were at Rio 2016. Although I didn't compete as a main player, but as a substitute, I took on that role. I deeply valued every opportunity the coach gave me to play, and I fought for every point with dedication and vigour. I believe that having experienced the weightless nature of the [2020] Tokyo Games and with Paris returning to normality, the support and encouragement from spectators will definitely motivate us. The Paris Paralympics will be my third appearance at the Games. The previous two Paralympics left me with some regrets as I didn't get the desired gold medal. I'm particularly hopeful that in Paris I can achieve this dream." (paralympic.org, 13 Aug 2024)
