Reason: He took up the sport after he saw people doing archery at the Turkish Armed Forces Rehabilitation Centre. "I was 25 years old when the incident happened to me. My whole life changed. I had to adapt to a new life. I had so many veteran friends around me that they gave me support, strength and a new purpose for life again. It was difficult, but I did it. I recovered quickly with the support I received from my family, wife and child. After I started archery, I always had a dream of hearing the national anthem played at an international competition."
