Biography
Started: He began swimming when he was six months old in A Coruna, Spain. He took up competitive sport in 2008. He says he was able to adapt quickly following the move. "I had already been training at my swimming club, Liceo, for 11 years with Jesus de la Fuente, my former coach, and I saw the need to make a change. I thought moving was going to hit me a little more, especially the change from being with my family every day to not seeing them for three months.
