After representing Mexico at the 2007 Parapan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he relocated to Spain to play for AMFIV Vigo. He has since played for other club teams in Spain and has also had spells at club teams in Italy and France. He began representing Spain in 2024 after receiving Spanish citizenship.
