Reason: His school organised a trip to Asturias, Spain, at the end of the academic year and kayaking was one of the activities offered. "I saw that I could do it and I liked it. In Palma I signed up for some courses and after three years my instructor, Victor Blanes, suggested I should compete. I joined the local Para canoe team and I have not stopped since."
