Started: He took up shooting Para sport after finishing his rehabilitation in 2017 at age 29 at the VIDENA High Performance Centre in Lima, Peru. "Before the attack, we formed a tactical shooting team with my police friends. Then the accident happened and I was looking for something to practise. It was then that I found shooting again. It made me feel better because I am passionate about it and it gives me confidence. I tried a lot of sports, but shooting is my thing. I feel it is what I enjoy most." Along with Jesus Rios and Steve Medina, he competed at the 2018 World Cup event in Chateauroux, France.
