Reason: Having been introduced to wheelchair racing in 2006, she was initially unable to obtain a racing chair, and so switched to powerlifting for several years. Then in 2011 a friend introduced her to a wheelchair racing coach, after which she switched back to Para athletics and went on to make the Nigerian national team. "People said I was doing well in powerlifting but I didn't like the game. I was not satisfied. The game after my heart was wheelchair racing."
