Reason: She tried Para dance sport when she was younger but realised it was not a sport she liked. She switched to powerlifting following the suggestion of Duisengali Ospanov, president of Kustanai Regional Paralympic Committee. "Since I was four years old, I tried my luck in various sports: gymnastics, karate, boxing, martial arts - we tried everything. But I started to give up sports. After that, I met my coach in 2015 while attending a dance club. Thus, we started powerlifting. In just one year, I won the championship of Kazakhstan."
