Reason: "My friend, who was a Para shooter, asked me to attend a competition and learn about Para sport. Coach Vijaya Sarathy gave me the confidence to try powerlifting and in my first tournament, I won gold. This helped me to pursue my career further. When I started my journey, I did not know that the Paralympics existed. My aim was to win medals and progress to the higher levels. My coach pushed me and said that I will compete in the Asian Para Games and the Paralympics one day."
