Reason: She was encouraged by her coach to take up Para athletics after she acquired her impairment. "I tried other sports such as football, netball and volleyball, but it was athletics which caught my attention the most. After what happened, my coach insisted I should go back to training. In September 2019, together with coach Josh Hazzard, she participated in a training programme for athletes and coaches at Nippon Sport Science University in Tokyo, Japan.
