Biography
Started: She took up the sport at age 25 in 2017 at the Luis Carlos Galan Velodrome in Bogota, Colombia. (Athlete, 22 Aug 2021) Reason: She was involved in roller skating before switching to cycling. After her accident, she continued taking part in non-Para cycling competitions but realised her body was not the same. She opted to retire from competitive sport until she was invited to try Para cycling by coach Jose Castro.
