Then a person [Diego Valenzuela] came and told me that I could play, that there should be a way. And then he put the ball inside a bag and I began playing from then on." At age 10 he discovered football 5-a-side after watching the sport on television. He later joined the football 5-a-side team at Canuelas club, where he had previously visited as a sports reporter.
