Biography
At the 2023 Montreal Open, Mason Smith was the tournament’s top scorer with 29 goals leading Nova Scotia to the silver medal.
In December, 2022, Smith scored at least one goal in all of Canada’s seven games at the world championships with 14 goals in the tournament. In a 9-8 victory over Japan, Smith blocked three penalty shots, scored four goals, and made a number of blocks in his wing.
That same year he was also a member of Canada’s Nations Cup team.
